Is it worth watching skins gen 3. I've recently finished generation 2 of skins. I've got to say, it was good but not close to gen 1. Now I'm just wondering if it's worth watching gen 3 as Effy is not in it. just like with every Skins gen, there are good, bad and horrendous moments. I held off watching it but finally gave in.

Gen 3, in my opinion, is great on its own. It's definitely flawed, but when I watched it separately from the rest of the show, I really enjoyed it. But I think the lack of connections to the previous generation, and no returning characters (other than Doug, of course) makes it feel almost like a spin-off rather than a continuation.
